  • This shared service is the cheapest way to travel to get to downtown Cancun (Soriana in front of the ADO bus station) from the port of Chiquila (Holbox Ferry).
  • We offer daily departures from the port of Chiquila (Holbox Ferry) at  7:30 and 13:30 hrs.
  • To book the service, you must make your reservation online at least 24 hours before your travel date.
  • The meeting point for this shuttle service is outside Genesis parking lot. It’s located after passing the letters of CHIQUILA. You can download the location map here.
  • We will never ask you to pay cash for your transfer to a third party and offer you a refund upon arrival. Please beware of taxi scammers at Chiquila. They will pretend to be calling your transportation company and tell you to take a taxi and pay in cash for that service and offer you a full refund upon arrival. Our staff will never ask you to pay for a service which you have already paid for. Please note that all of our services are paid online otherwise specified.
  • You must provide us with a telephone number where we can contact you if any situation arises.
  • One piece of 25 kg max luggage is allowed. An extra piece of small handheld luggage is allowed per person as long as it fits on your lap.
  • If you are traveling with large sports gear, you should hire a private service instead.
  • You are hiring a shared shuttle service out of respect for the rest of the passengers. There is no waiting tolerance. Please consider this information before booking.
  • Our drivers are not authorized to receive cash payments. Feel free to tip them generously.

You need to send an email to shuttle@holboxguide.com with your booking number requesting the transferable certificate. Our team will send you a certificate coupon code with the exact amount of money you paid on our website. This coupon will be valid for one year that you can use on our website to hire a new service.

How does shared transportation work?
Our Shared Shuttle is the cheapest way to travel. Availability is limited to predefined shuttle schedules. You must make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance. Flexibility is limited and subject to availability. Extra costs are likely to occur if you miss your shuttle. Keep this in mind before you book.

What are the luggage restrictions?
Shared Service: One piece of 25 kg max luggage is allowed. An extra piece of small handheld luggage is allowed per person as long as it fits on your lap. Large sports gear is not allowed.

How can I pay?
You must book online through our website where you can pay with Debit or Credit Card via Stripe.

What happens after I pay?
After your payment is processed you will get an e-mail with your booking order and confirmation number. If you can’t see this e-mail please check your spam folder or write us to shuttle@holboxguide.com and we will gladly resend the confirmation e-mail to you.
